Our Approach To Learning & Development
Our workshops are carried out in a highly facilitative and participative manner that fosters knowledge transfer and higher learning among participants. Through facilitation, learning becomes more fun and effective because it:
We believe that learning does not happen only at the workshop. True learning comes from sustained application at the workplace. For this reason, our programs are designed to facilitate the conditions for participants to acquire and to apply the skills that they have learnt, after the workshop has ended.
The two major components that make our workshops highly effective are Action Learning and Experiential Learning.
- Enhances relationship. It fosters greater interaction among participants.
- Builds trust and instills values. Invites people into a discussion and a relationship with each other that has numerous opportunities for learning and catching all the values of the learning group.
- Makes learning reproducible. It is not tied to personality or educational achievement. Any personality type can learn and feel comfortable by asking good questions.

Action Learning
Action learning is a structured developmental method that enables individuals and organizations to tackle real problems. Its roots are in adult learning and organizational development, ensuring that individuals can continue to be supported in their roles and learn from colleagues.
It is underpinned by a belief in individual potential: a way of learning from our actions and from what happens to us, and around us, by taking the time to question, understand and reflect, to gain insights and consider how to act in the future.

Experiential Learning
Experiential learning is a highly effective alternative to traditional learning and is defined as ‘the process of practically engaging learners in an authentic experience that has benefits and consequences.’
Why Experiential Learning Works
Benefits
“Experiential learning effectively encapsulates all areas of the learning pyramid - from lecture to reading, from discussion to practice - which is why the retention rates are so high at 80-90%.”

Experiential learning is a highly effective alternative to traditional learning and is defined as ‘the process of practically engaging learners in an authentic experience that has benefits and consequences.’
Why Experiential Learning Works
- It is a highly practical way to learn – with a combination of theory and practice, participants understand how to apply skills to their work.
- It is highly immersive - it allows participants to engage in a role in a practical situation.
- It is contextual and relevant to the job – good experiential learning solutions are based around realistic scenarios.
- It is dynamic and emotionally engaging - it catches people’s interest and is a lot of fun.
- It is memorable - people who participate in experiential learning initiatives find they never forget them or the lessons they learnt.
Benefits
- Creates meaning from experience. It’s about creating that ‘a-ha’ or ‘eureka’ moment when everything sinks in and becomes clear.
- Shows the importance of business alignment - encouraging the setting of shared goals and accountability.
- Highly effective enabler of change, making change irresistible to the participants as they fully understand the reasoning.
